MAIN PEDAGOGICAL CONCEPTS
Lifelong learning Any person needs to access to lifelong learning and consequently to the progress in learning and qualification. Individualised learning Each person learns in a different way according to his/her personal characteristics, interest in the teaching and in the methodological approach and resources available. Learning for active citizenship Persons with autism or other high dependency needs can progress in the development of autonomy and participation. For that they must have an adequate guidance and access to a structured environment, visual cues and to the experiences in art activities. Equal opportunities and fight against social exclusion These must be common to every learning situation of handicapped persons, their families and of every European citizen in risk of discrimination. Consequently they must be basic principles in staff training. |
